JOLLY - 4 - EVER

The Jolly HoHo's were one of northern California's most underknown and underrated of all bands to come out of the secluded area generally known as the Emerald Triangle (most known for it's luscious green vegetation).  Composed of 7 members, they punk-rocked California for roughly 2 years in the early to mid-ninties.  They put out two demo tapes, and had one full length vinyl release on Spock Records, a label located in France.  they made themselves known as a force to be reconed with in the punk scene in Humboldt County and slowly made created a fan following up and down the left coast.  Their fans were many, and so were their enemies. Imagine my suprise! When I was camping a few weeks ago, I happened to run into another fan who actually recoginzed them as playing a show that he went to in Los Angeles, he remarked that "It was probably one of the best shows he had seen that year, then we both parted into our personal alcoholism of the evening... Funny that one show can linger in people's memories...

In the meantime, here's MP3's off of the record, if anyone has the first tape and wants to let me borrow it for a week so I can get the other songs online, that would be really cool!!!!!!!
Note that I'm currently searching for more server space as the last pirated server figured it out and pulled my access, D'OH!
